The question is not only, if the company is profitable. It is the question if the company can keep up the profit or increase it. Detailed information is usually written in the annual report. If the report is written gibberishly and you don’t really understand it, that is a red light for investments. It can be a sign of hiding the real issues.
If the company makes no profit and has a good future outlook, it could be a good choice for a speculation / Speculation 2.
